Wag!Another WAG adoption day is coming to Wimberley! This event will be held outside of King Feed located at 14210 Ranch Rd 12 @ 12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday the 16th. Come out and visit with the pups!
There are 24 dogs to choose from currently with WAG. You can see their list of dogs here: Adoption list. All of these beautiful dogs are looking for a home to sit and stay. Their adoption fees will mostly be 125$. All dogs have been vetted, are heartworm negative, microchipped and have been spayed or neutered. For more info on the WAG adoption process go here.
I love my dog Fritz and it’s a blessing to have a happy dog when I get home every day. I encourage anyone considering a dog to come and adopt. The wonderful experience you get with adding a new animal to the family is priceless.
Wimberley is a perfect place to own a dog. Whether you have land to explore or are living in a neighborhood and have trails to walk, there are always activities to do in Wimberley with your dog.
Although the swimming area at the Blue Hole Park is not dog-friendly, trails and fields around it are. The park makes for a great place to go play catch with your puppy or to take a peaceful walk through the woods.
Some of our best restaurants in town are pet friendly. The Leaning Pear, where you can get a delicious iron skillet entree and sit overlooking a scenic piece of Wimberley. Community Pizza & Beer Garden has a full outdoor bar and fantastic pizza options. The Hays City Store has great live music performers coming almost every night and you can take your dog!
