  A long time Wimberley resident and native Texan, Alice has deep knowledge and experience in the Wimberley and surrounding Hill Country real estate market. After graduating from Texas State University with a degree in marketing, Alice began her career in real estate with the encouragement of her parents, longtime successful Brokers, Dorothy and Eddie Gumbert. Utilizing this exposure to the real estate arena, along with her skills in research, organization, and attention to detail, Alice maintains the ability to uncover the right home or property for any buyer and the ability to showcase a sellers’ property for maximum exposure and value. Alice has lived and worked in major metro markets such as Atlanta, San Antonio, and Houston; understanding the importance of finding a perfect fit for families relocating to the Austin area. Alice is adept at aiding clients in acclimating to Wimberley with in-depth information about certain areas and subdivisions to best serve their needs. Clients benefit from her persistence, honesty, and commitment to helping them buy or sell their home. As a client once said, “She isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves and work hard to make sure her listings look as good as possible.” Working in Houston for 12 years as a respected residential REALTOR® and 4 years prior as a commercial leasing agent; Alice has returned home to Wimberley and joined Keller Williams Realty. She is currently involved with the Wimberley Institute of Culture and the Wimberley Jr. High PTO as the Treasurer. She has been married for over 20 years and is raising two young gentlemen. Alice enjoys spending time with her family and taking full advantage of the outdoors, skiing, hiking, horseback riding, home decorating and gardening.
